Seattle born, Berlin-based electronic musician Camea provides a unique perspective to the world of dance music. Classically trained and with years of production experience, she masterfully blends her classicism and jazz piano roots with early grunge influences and modern cinematic story telling, molding her ideas into dance floor hits. 

A DJ for over 15 years, Camea has been touring worldwide and
brings main stage energy into her sets, frequently performing at the worlds best clubs and festivals. With her debut Album out in 2020 titled 'Dystopian Love', Billboard hailed her as an artist to watch, as well as receiving notable praises from essential publications like Resident Advisor, Groove Magazine, Magnetic and Bandcamp. 

2022 has been Camea’s most prolific year to date, releasing on Kompakt/Speicher, Second State, her own imprint Neverwhere and heavy remixes for artists like Will Clark and Edgar De Ramon. She’s had two DJ appearances on Hör Radio, as well as a mix feature on Fjaak’s acclaimed series, SPANDAU20. Her imprint Neverwhere also emerged as a force to be reckoned with, releasing EPs from artists like The Reason Y, Prøvost, Larry Cadge and JSPR, frequently charting in Beatport’s top 100. 

Camea’s discography is expansive, she has been featured on labels such as Bpitch Control, Plus 8, Soma, Minus and Get Physical. Her keen curative sense has landed her remix collaborations with the likes of Pan-Pot, Ellen Allien, Matrixxman, Locked Groove, Markus Sucket, Ian Pooley, Tobias. and many more. Camea is also credited to running legendary Clink Recordings, one of the minimal eras most illustrious labels, illustrating her years immersed in the Brooklyn underground dance scene in the mid-2000s.
